Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Luminis Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients for physical therapy services and providing therapeutic intervention to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for physical therapy services and develop effective treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Provide technical supervision and direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, students, and volunteers.
  • Meet departmental productivity standards and participate in departmental in-service activities and continuing education seminars.
  • Consult with physicians and other clinicians to increase knowledge of physical therapy and identify the need for physical therapy services.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and complete materials related to departmental process improvement and productivity logs.
Requirements
  • Higher Education Level required for PT Licensure
  • Outpatient rehabilitation or related experience.
Working Conditions

The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation setting, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands

The Physical Therapist will be required to lift, carry, and move patients and equipment, as well as stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. The ideal candidate will possess the physical stamina and endurance to perform the essential functions of the job.
