We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As an integral member of our Medical Imaging department, you will play a critical role in the improvement of human life by performing radiological diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating diagnostic equipment.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety protocols.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Ensure a positive patient experience by maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling patients, and overseeing patient transportation.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- RT Certification from ARRT.
- State License required.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Radiology Technologist.
