We are currently in search of a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (RTA) to enhance our dedicated team. The RTA will play a crucial role in supporting Physical Therapists as they aid patients in their recovery journey from significant health challenges, injuries, or medical occurrences, aiming to restore their maximum functional capabilities, health, and autonomy.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver supportive care to individuals requiring short-term or transitional assistance for rehabilitation and recovery.
- Assist in providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of licensed therapists.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered for proper billing of therapy sessions.
- Adhere to established care protocols and professional standards to fulfill patient requirements and comply with regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to formulate comprehensive care strategies and therapy regimens.
- Recognize and refer patients to other specialists as necessary for optimal care.
- Execute additional responsibilities and tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the relevant state.
