PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibility of this position is to conduct routine mechanical repairs on compressed air systems, including air dryers, filters, cooling systems, and associated piping. A comprehensive understanding of the methods, tools, and equipment used in air compressor repair is essential.

KEY DUTIES
● Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair air compressors and related components.
- Wire single-phase and three-phase motors.
● Execute rigging tasks, ensuring safe lifting and positioning of loads.
● Perform inspections to detect and resolve leaks, faults, and operational issues in compressed air systems.
● Carry out welding, soldering, and cutting tasks as necessary.
● Fabricate and assemble piping components in accordance with specifications.
● Install supports, valves, and other components per system plans.
● Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate system installation.
● Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a safe work environment.
● Prepare for scheduled work by checking required equipment and complying with PPE standards.
● Utilize manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair compressed air systems.
● Operate lift trucks and cranes to assist in repairs.
● Employ hand and power tools for the installation and maintenance of equipment.
● Access various resources and computer systems for parts information and data recording.
● Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed, performing diagnostic checks and repairs.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
● Eagerness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
● Proven experience in mechanical field service and strong mechanical aptitude.
● Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
● Familiarity with tools and methods for repairing and installing compressed air systems.
● Ability to operate service vehicles, including trucks and forklifts.
● Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
● Proficient with mobile technology and applications.
● Excellent customer service and self-management abilities.
● Understanding of OSHA safety guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
At least 3 years of field service experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, with demonstrated expertise in air compressor maintenance and repair.
Other:
Must be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively interact with customers.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy components, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use mechanical aids for heavier items.
Field Responsibilities:
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record, with the ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
