Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based research and nursing policies to inform your practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer medications safely and efficiently, leveraging the latest technologies to minimize errors.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, using electronic documentation systems to streamline processes.
  • Provide patient and family-centered education, empowering individuals to manage their health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions and continuum of care.
Qualifications
  • Current New Jersey Nursing license
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year med surg experience
  • Maternal child services experience in a hospital setting, including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby nursery
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • ACLS and NRP certifications, with ability to obtain within 6 months
