Role Overview:
As a Retail Pharmacist at Cardinal Health Community Health Center, you will be integral in delivering pharmaceutical care to underserved communities. Your responsibilities will include patient consultations, medication therapy management, and overseeing high-risk patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications and ensure their safe and efficient delivery under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers and healthcare practitioners for consultations.
- Supervise technical staff to ensure optimal workflow.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
- Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
- Organize and direct the workflow of pharmacy technicians, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, as well as order entries and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required; PharmD is preferred.
- Active CA Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with 340B programs is preferred.
Compensation: Anticipated hourly rate ranges from $55.40 to $74.00.
