Job Summary
SCP Health is seeking a skilled Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician to join our team at our hospital. As a Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our hospital's nocturnist team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in our 139-bed hospital, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including those in our 14-bed inpatient rehab unit.
- Participate in our open ICU, where all patients receive a mandatory consult from Pulmonology/Critical Care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, working closely with our subspecialty support teams in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology/Critical Care, Radiology, Urology, and Podiatry.
- Lead our nocturnist team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention at all times.
- Participate in our attractive bonus package, recognizing your hard work and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
- Enjoy a collegial work environment, working closely with our ED team and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current licensure in the state of practice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
