About this role:

This 10-bed unit is staffed with highly trained and qualified pediatric inpatient nurses, physicians, and support staff. As a pediatric inpatient nurse, you play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes during their hospital stay. The unit is supported by strong leadership who are committed to fostering a positive work environment, enhancing the quality of patient care, and promoting continuous learning and development among staff.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine their medical needs and monitor their progress
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans with our board-certified pediatric hospitalists and child life specialist
  • Maintain hospital and unit specific competencies
  • Advocate for the needs and best interests of pediatric patients, ensuring they receive appropriate and compassionate care

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
