Certification Requirements
  • Must possess a valid nursing license from Wisconsin or a compact license from the state of permanent residence.
  • BLS certification is required through the American Heart Association exclusively.

Candidate Requirements
  • Applicants must fulfill all minimum qualifications to be eligible.

  • Only submit candidates who can adhere to the schedule outlined in the posting and are interested in the unit.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or a hospital of similar size is required.
  • Completion of a previous traveler assignment lasting 13 weeks is necessary.
Schedule Information
  • The F6/4 unit consists of 27 beds dedicated to medical and surgical care.
  • Outpatient Short Stay: Patients are preassigned from various specialties.
  • Hospitalist 4: Patients are sourced from multiple channels with diverse medical conditions.
  • Staff are committed to ensuring patient satisfaction, efficient throughput, and availability of care.
Unit Specifics
  • The F6/4 unit is home to a 27-bed medical and surgical patient population, including Outpatient Short Stay and Hospitalist 4 patients.
  • The team on this unit excels in time management and patient throughput, routinely managing multiple admissions and discharges daily.

  • Candidates must have a permanent address located outside a 50-mile radius of Madison.
