We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at The Chatfield Assisted Living. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all foods according to the menu and standardized recipes in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner.
  • Suggest menu or recipe changes to minimize food waste and optimize inventory.
  • Ensure the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the spreadsheets and recipes.
  • Clean and sanitize facility equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Lift, bend, and twist repetitively with minor assistance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to ensure quality food products are prepared according to the menu and standardized recipes.
  • Ability to ensure that foods are ready for service at the specified time.
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of job duties and situations.
  • Ability to act as a team member and take on a leadership role as needed.
