Job Overview
Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Machinist Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining machinery and equipment in various establishments.

About the Role
This is a skilled trade position that requires a strong foundation in mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You will work independently, reading and interpreting blueprints, layout plans, and vendor installation manuals to determine work procedures. Your tasks may include dismantling machines, moving equipment, assembling and installing new equipment, constructing foundations, and aligning machinery. You may also operate engine lathes and robots, and perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in a related field. You should possess knowledge of shop mathematics, precision limits, and safety protocols. You must be able to work at heights without fear, operate machinery safely, and make decisions based on measurable criteria.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
