Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Robotics Automation Engineer to join a dynamic and expanding organization. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and control frameworks. Responsible for specifying hardware and programming robotics automation along with PLC-based control systems.
- Supervise daily operations and protocols for manufacturing cells and robotic systems.
- Assist in the design, construction, troubleshooting, and deployment of new robotic systems and auxiliary operations.
- Oversee the design and fabrication of End of Arm Tooling for production molds, including the maintenance and repair of EOATs and all robotic systems in the production area.
- Evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation to identify electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motion, and control components for mechanical systems.
- Utilize programming software to develop and implement Robotic and PLC-based control systems for manufacturing machinery.
Qualifications:
- Background in injection molding with a robust electrical foundation.
- Understanding of molding machinery and robotic sequencing and communication protocols.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in robotics, automation, and the design of electro-mechanical systems within manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery; experience with robotic systems such as Ranger, Wittmann, HyRobotics, Fanuc, Rethink, and Star Robots, as well as PLCs.
- Proficient in industrial electrical design, PLC programming, and industrial networking.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
