About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Aide to join our team at American Senior Communities. As a Culinary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with culinary leaders to develop and implement menu plans that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Assist in the preparation and portioning of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
  • Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
  • Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
  • Clean equipment and maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
  • Preferred: Prior restaurant or food service experience.
  • Required: Commitment to customer service and a willingness to work effectively with the culinary team and leaders.
