Autocad Drafter

This is a challenging role that requires a skilled Autocad Drafter to join our team at Targa Resources. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Prepare and modify detailed technical drawings using Autocad software.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior drafters and supervisors to define priorities and work scope.
• Work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
• Provide support to management, operations, engineering, and other teams in the development of drawing disciplines and systems.

• Valid high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a defensive driving safety course.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Autocad software and piping, mechanical, and process flow diagrams.

• Minimum of two years of drafting experience in a petrochemical facility.
• Two-year associate's degree in a related field.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and lock-out/tag-out procedures.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in Houston's ambient climate conditions daily.
• Able to work in close quarters, including kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
