We are looking for a Senior Django Developer to be managing, enhancing, and maintaining our Content Management System (CMS) that is used to administer mobile sports apps around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, enhance, and maintain our Content Management System (CMS) using Django framework.
  • Develop and customize the Django admin to meet the needs of our sports industry clients.
  • Work with relational databases, MySQL, and Django ORM to optimize performance and avoid issues.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using XML and JSON.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the sports industry.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django framework.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Javascript/CSS and Django templates.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases, MySQL, and Django ORM.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with RESTful APIs using XML and JSON.
  • Solid systems skills, including multi-threading, operating systems, data structures, virtualization, network protocols, exception handling, reliability, caching, etc.
  • Experience with programming, debugging, and dealing with production Django code.
  • Ability to work independently and rapidly, with minimal supervision.
  • Deep understanding of web browsers, network protocols, and underlying web technologies.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours.
