Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager Telemetry to join our team at Clinical Management Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 40+ bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of the telemetry unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional patient satisfaction scores.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure state and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage department staffing, including scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, evaluations, and assisting with the hiring process.
  • Partner with nurse educators to provide exceptional educational programs for new hires and current department staff.
  • Collaborate with the Divisional Director Inpatient Services to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license and Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership experience in an acute care hospital, preferably in a med-surg or telemetry unit.
  • Proven track record of success in managing day-to-day operations, updating policies and procedures, and ensuring state and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
