Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Packaging Technician to join our operations team at Inteplast Group. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient packaging of slit rolls according to customer specifications.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with our production supervisors, lead technicians, and slitting technicians to achieve our manufacturing goals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate verification of customer requirements by reviewing setup data.
  • Correctly identify exception codes and utilize suitable packing supplies.
  • Efficiently print labels at the packaging station and confirm roll data for each finished roll.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on conveying systems.
  • Operate the packaging crane with precision and safety.
  • Input data accurately into computers at the packing and stretch-wrapping stations.
  • Basic operation of the stretch-wrapper in both automated and manual modes.
  • Weigh finished pallets correctly and label them verifying data.
  • Maintain an organized and secure working environment.
  • Cultivate effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Operation of a forklift for stacking materials.
  • Utilize the clamp truck proficiently.
  • Support various functions within the Slitting Department upon request.
