CULINARY SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals with a focus on customer service who

are interested in joining our Culinary Department as a Culinary Support Specialist. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of meals for our

residents. Your responsibilities will include aiding in food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas while following

all safety and health regulations under the guidance of the Dietary Services Director and/or Cook. Our mission is to deliver exceptional food services and delightful meals for our residents.

CULINARY SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Key Responsibilities:


• Aid in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks; implement portion control measures; assist

in cleaning workspaces, equipment, and floors, as well as dishes and utensils; help in distributing

menus and verifying trays for menu and dietary preferences and accuracy; ensure proper storage of

food and supplies; and comply with universal precautions and sanitary, safety, and infection control

policies and procedures.


• Ensure that food and supplies are ready for the next meal, assist in inventory management and storage

of incoming food and supplies, and report any hazardous conditions, equipment issues, accidents, and

incidents.


• Participate in orientation and training sessions as mandated by federal, state, and company guidelines.

CULINARY SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Required Qualifications:


• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Completion of high school education or demonstrate the ability to read, write, and follow oral

and written instructions.


• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required.


• Must be available to work weekends and overtime as necessary.


• Must comply with all local health regulations and pass a post-employment physical examination, if required.


• Must be able to follow directions effectively.

PART TIME ONLY
