Respiratory Care Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Administer oxygen, respiratory medicines, and bronchial hygiene as ordered by a physician.
- Maintain invasive and non-invasive ventilators, and assist with airway management.
- Perform EKGs and bedside monitoring of patient vital signs, and assess the respiratory system.
- Respond to medical emergencies, rapid response, STEMI, and trauma calls.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Licensed in the state of Iowa as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the NBRC at time of hire.
- Basic computer skills, read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
