Sysco is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer and manually unloading/delivering various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver products to customer locations
- Build relationships with customers using a positive and friendly attitude
- Meet customer needs and expectations by understanding their operations
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
- 1 year customer delivery experience
- 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience
- 6 months Food and Beverage experience
- 2 years consistent work history
- Excellent pay, including productivity incentives
- Most Driver Trainees have daily routes and are home nightly
