Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at IWS, Inc. in Canonsburg, PA.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods around our warehouse and industrial site. This includes loading and unloading deliveries from trucks, placing products in designated locations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move goods around the warehouse
  • Stack and unstack goods onto shelves or pallets
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
  • Unload deliveries and relocate goods to designated storage areas
  • Regularly inspect equipment for faults or damages and report any issues
  • Wrap pallets to prepare goods for transport
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and forklift operating procedures
  • Consolidate pallets as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with some direction
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, twist, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials or equipment up to 50 pounds
