We are seeking an experienced MRI Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis.

About the Role

This PRN position offers a unique opportunity to work on a part-time schedule, with flexible hours as needed. As an MRI Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.

Job Highlights
  • Competitive hourly rate of $35 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials
  • Relocation assistance available for candidates outside of metro St. Louis
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification required
Responsibilities and Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients for MRI exams
  • Selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce high-quality images
  • Entering and monitoring patient data, as well as transferring images to PACS
  • Administering contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations
Education and Experience
