At Scientific Research Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician II with Security Clearance to join our team. This role is contingent upon award and requires U.S. citizenship and a current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.

In this position, you will be responsible for assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting. You will also perform simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operate and adjust simple test equipment; record test data. Additionally, you will gather and maintain specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; perform computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plot data and draw simple curves and graphs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble or install equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting
  • Perform simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests
  • Operate and adjust simple test equipment
  • Record test data
  • Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data
  • Perform computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas
  • Plot data and draw simple curves and graphs

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any major system/equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of electronic circuits; on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of products and equipment; knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Inventor or Solid
  • Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
