Job Overview

The Industrial Electrical Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems within our manufacturing environment. This position requires a thorough understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to and enforce established safety, health, and quality policies.
  • Monitor production quality and adjust processes to maintain product integrity.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes to plan electrical installations.
  • Install, inspect, and repair various electrical components including wiring, switch boxes, and lighting fixtures.
  • Conduct tests on electrical equipment to assess continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Maintain and repair switchgear, transformers, and electrical motors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical control systems.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the training of production staff on machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
Qualifications

A two-year Associate Degree in an electrical-related field is advantageous. A minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance as an electrician is preferred.
