Job Overview: As a Life Coach at Pace Center for Girls, you will play a vital role in empowering girls to achieve their full potential. This position involves providing a range of services tailored to the unique needs of each girl, including career planning, daily living support, money management education, health assistance, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive individualized assessments to identify girls' strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Collaborate with girls to create personalized service plans, setting achievable objectives and providing ongoing support.
- Offer counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services to help girls navigate life's challenges.
- Connect girls with community resources and provide guidance on essential life skills, including education, career development, and employability.
- Lead group counseling sessions to promote social development and empowerment.
- Work closely with families to address problems and provide support during times of crisis.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for girls.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff competence and promote best practices.
- Contribute to care review meetings and documentation to ensure accurate and timely information.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience working with adolescent youth.
- Knowledge of case management, counseling, and crisis intervention principles.
- Proficiency in computer skills and office equipment.
- Valid driver's license for transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of state policies and laws concerning children and families.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
