Position Summary

The Billing Analyst plays a crucial role in managing billing processes and vendor payments. This position involves addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues through our support systems. Key ResponsibilitiesBilling Analysis:
  • Examine and assess customer billing statements to detect discrepancies or unusual charges.
  • Resolve billing issues by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing information across multiple systems.
Vendor Payment Oversight:
  • Track and analyze vendor payments to guarantee timely and precise processing.
  • Address payment discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of vendor transactions and communications.
Customer Support:
  • Handle customer inquiries and support tickets related to billing and payments professionally and promptly.
  • Provide clear explanations and resolutions to customers regarding their accounts and billing issues.
  • Escalate complex matters to the appropriate departments as necessary.
System Proficiency:
  • Utilize various software systems to retrieve, analyze, and update billing and payment data.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the systems utilized for billing and vendor payments.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Generate regular reports on billing and payment activities, highlighting any issues or trends.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions within the support system.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, or a related field, along with a High School Diploma/GED. An A.S. or B.A. degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
