Job Title: Biomanufacturing Specialist

**Overview:**
The University of Iowa is seeking a highly skilled Biomanufacturing Specialist to join its dedicated professional staff at the Center for Biocatalysis and Bioprocessing. As a member of this team, the successful candidate will contribute to the manufacture of protein products as part of our contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) organization.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

**Responsibilities:**
Learn an overview of both fermentation and purification processes required for pilot-scale manufacturing of proteins
Focusing on either fermentation or purification
Perform tasks that require accuracy, attention to detail, including accurate record keeping

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field
At least 1-3 years of industry-related experience in biomanufacturing processes
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
