About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team at Axos Bank. As a key member of our Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Bank's bridge, construction, and CRE lender finance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement department-wide processes and policies, working closely with project management and technology teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Develop and enhance portfolio management reports, tools, and systems to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor the credit quality of assigned portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address performance changes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely document and covenant tickler monitoring and testing, leveraging dashboard reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Manage the engagement and workflow of product-level and department audits, including internal and regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with relationship management, underwriting, operations, servicing, and special assets teams to deliver exceptional client service and loan administration.
  • Lead a high-performing organization by setting expectations, holding teams accountable, and recognizing outstanding performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in a financial institution
  • 5+ years in a CRE portfolio management role
