Warehouse Operations Specialist

Nesco Resource is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to shipping them out to customers.
Responsibilities- Inbound Operations: Unload trucks, trailers, and containers of freight, count products, compare manifests to check for damage or mis-shipments, and report any discrepancies on appropriate forms.
- Order Picking: Ensure accurate picking of products, quantities, and types, transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment like fork trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks, and label, stencil, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.
- Outbound Operations: Compare quantity, labeling, and address with orders to ensure complete and correct shipments, assign signatures as necessary, and move products, cartons, and pallets efficiently into trailers, rail cars, or containers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, operate it safely and efficiently, and comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records and reports, assist in physical inventories and cycle counts, ensure proper stock rotation, and may key inventory adjustments in the computer.
- A high school education or GED is required; OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification is a plus.
- The ability to use proper techniques to lift up to 75 pounds and follow directions with emphasis on safety is essential.
- Must be able to handle stress caused by meeting deadlines under tight scheduling requirements, shift priorities easily, use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements, and have responsible work habits.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems and availability to work any shift are also required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret SOPs, coverage documents, and regulations, write reports and business correspondence, establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Estimated Salary$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
