About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Apply nursing process and theories to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate, and modify patient care using evidence-based practices.
  • Practice autonomously within professional nursing standards, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the ANA Bill of Rights.
  • Strive for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the Florida Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient care and outcomes.
  • Take a leadership role in coordinating the interdisciplinary team and enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Ensure practice is in accordance with competency required for the area of specialty.
  • Participate in quality assurance or performance improvement initiatives.
  • Act as an educator to peers, patients, and families, promoting service excellence and a healing environment.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Chemotherapy/Bio-Therapy Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • OCN Certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience.
