Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Dementia Caregiver. This position offers an opportunity to provide essential support to individuals experiencing memory loss, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized care to clients with dementia in their residences
  • Assist with essential daily living tasks, including hygiene, dressing, and medication administration
  • Engage clients in activities that foster cognitive engagement and emotional well-being
  • Work closely with the care management team to create tailored care strategies

Requirements:
  • Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Demonstrated compassion and patience in caregiving
  • Experience with dementia patients is preferred

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in caring for individuals in advanced stages of memory impairment
  • Knowledge of advanced redirection techniques and personal care
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals experiencing Aphasia
  • Exhibit patience, sensitivity, and empathy towards clients facing emotional challenges
