Key Responsibilities
  • Dust, clean, vacuum, and mop equipment, patient rooms, and general areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Follow Facility policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
  • Attend required staff in-services to stay up-to-date on cleaning techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate effectively with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Current identification.
  • Excellent personal hygiene.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in long-term care or a hotel environment.
  • Prior experience with Isolation/Infection control.
