Dimensional Specialist

In this role, you will be working as a Dimensional Engineer at Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. Your primary responsibility will be to define and maintain aesthetic gap and flush target requirements.

You will analyze, define, and maintain BiW, Exterior, and Interior datum targets, adhering to the 3-2-1 principle (reference system). Additionally, you will perform tolerance calculations for BiW, Exterior, and Interior - Build Tolerance simulation/analysis models in 3DCS and VIS-VSA software environment.

You will find solutions to deviations from tolerance calculations and attend project regular meetings to understand and gather necessary inputs. You will also resolve queries and perform functional tolerance calculations apart from Gap and Flush area.

Some of your deliverables will include:

• A Pre Tolerancing document that captures datum targets and GD&T callouts of the component.
• A Gap Flush document that captures nominal values with tolerances of gap and flush requirements for different interfaces.
• A Measurement Points document that captures feature points on components for which measurement will be done and reported.
• A Tolerance calculation model created using 3DCS software.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of Marysville, OH.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the areas of dimensional analysis and tolerance calculations. You should also have experience working with 3DCS and VIS-VSA software.
