Job Title: Digital Content Strategist

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for creating engaging digital media content that showcases the cultural heritage and traditions of Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multimedia storytelling, graphic design, and digital production. They will work closely with internal teams and community partners to develop and implement effective digital strategies that meet the goals and objectives of Kamehameha Schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce high-quality digital content, including videos, graphics, and animations, that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to develop and implement digital strategies that meet the goals and objectives of Kamehameha Schools.
  • Provide expertise in multimedia storytelling, graphic design, and digital production to support the development of digital content.
  • Manage and maintain digital platforms, including social media, websites, and other online channels, to ensure consistency and effectiveness in digital engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital media and apply this knowledge to improve digital content and engagement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as video production, media arts, graphic design, or digital studies.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital media production, including video production, graphic design, and digital content creation.
  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in multimedia storytelling, graphic design, and digital production.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and community partners.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
