  • Provide Urology care in collaborative joint practice with the physicians to Urology patients
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individual patients
  • Initiate and document appropriate interventions; prescribe drug therapies per protocol/Physician consultation
  • Manage the administration of IV and oral medications, vascular access device maintenance and monitoring, chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, blood administration, therapeutic phlebotomy, assessment of patient symptoms and the management of side effects, and overall collaboration on patient treatment plans
  • Promote wellness and recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs
  • Provide case management for Urology clients and their families
  • Supervise the activities of clinical nursing and support staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or PA from an accredited program

RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state

Practical experience working in Urology preferred
