As a Claims Examiner Trainee, you'll play a crucial role in our fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions and driving growth in our award-winning culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive training programs to master the fundamentals of claims examination, including policy terms, coverage analysis, and claims processing procedures.
  • Assist in the investigation of property insurance claims by gathering relevant information, including interviews with policyholders.
  • Evaluate damages and losses to determine coverage.
  • Collaborate with other adjusters to analyze claim files and prepare detailed reports.
  • Communicate effectively with insureds, contractors, and other parties to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all claim-related communication and documentation.
  • Learn and adhere to company policies, insurance laws, and regulatory requirements related to claims processing, ensuring all claims are handled in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Ongoing participate in workshops to continue developing knowledge of property claims and insurance policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or automotive claims required.

  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
