Position Summary:

We are in search of skilled Folder Gluer Operators to enhance our operations in Peachtree City, GA. This role is pivotal in the production of premium folded cartons tailored for the food packaging sector. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience with folder/gluer machinery and a solid foundation in food packaging processes.

Key Duties:
  • Machine Management: Operate and fine-tune folder/gluer machines to manufacture printed packaging materials as per client specifications. Diagnose and oversee machine functions to ensure peak performance.
  • Setup and Calibration: Prepare the gluer by managing the feeding, handling, and flipping of blanks. Establish automatic loading and maintain consistent, accurate feeding across all speeds. Implement necessary adjustments to uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Pre-Production Tasks: Execute various pre-production tasks to guarantee high efficiency and accuracy. Address defects and adjust processes to yield superior products.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise General Technicians operating the equipment, offering direction and assistance as required.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and precision. Ensure compliance with customer standards and adherence to ISO regulations.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with OHSE policies and maintain a tidy, safe workspace. Follow all safety protocols and manage hazardous materials according to established guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage with team members to foster respect and teamwork. Provide constructive feedback, inspire the crew, and conduct team meetings to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of operational experience with folder/gluer machinery in the food packaging industry.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, along with basic computer and math skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift over 30 lbs, and perform various physical tasks including bending, stooping, and reaching. Must possess manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
