The Brain Health Unit (BHU) is a 40-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with medical and psychological diagnoses. The unit is staffed by experienced nurses who are committed to providing high-quality care and promoting patient well-being.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the BHU, including staffing, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
  • Monitor and analyze patient data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • BSN or higher degree in nursing
  • 5-7 years of experience in nursing leadership
  • Current Maryland RN license
  • American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Applicable specialty certifications preferred
