Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team at Kennedy Space Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of system-level test events for our ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in system software testing and validation, with the ability to learn and apply knowledge in system-level acceptance testing on a large scale, multi-platform architecture. You will be responsible for creating and performing test campaigns for newly created software, working closely with multiple groups to support the System Test Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Verification of the Launch Control Subsystem (LCS) System Software
  • Create new test and performance monitoring capabilities to meet system-level requirements
  • Support the Test Engineering group for the LCS as a team environment
  • Participate in training and design panels to gain an understanding of LCS and performance testing
  • Perform other duties within the Test Engineering department
