Job Summary

At Airgas, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk medical or industrial gas systems in a safe and operationally effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Install and maintain nitrogen on-site generation equipment.
  2. Install cryogenic bulk installations both at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
  3. Repair pressure reduction equipment associated with bulk delivery systems.
  4. Repair electrical systems associated with N2 generation and cryogenic installations.
  5. Install decals and warning signs for the proper identification of hazards.
  6. Perform installation of piping systems in accordance with company SOP's.
  7. Perform Site Surveys to assure compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
  8. Assure security fencing is provided to protect installations from tampering.
  9. Perform periodic preventative maintenance tasks on N2 generation equipment.
  10. Perform annual inspections of all bulk installation sites.
  11. Maintain an appropriate stock of recommended parts necessary to repair installations.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. HVAC or refrigeration certification or ASSE Medical Gas Credentials are a plus.
  3. Must have, or be able to obtain, a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days of employment.
  4. Must have a valid driver's license.
  5. Minimum of two (2) years of industrial field service experience, preferably in gas generation systems.
