We're seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of food items to standard in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.

• Prepare and cook food items according to established menu plans and recipes.
• Reads food orders from computer printouts and prepares food items accurately in a timely manner.
• Ensures work procedures, quality standards, and menu specifications are executed according to established guidelines.
• Coordinates with and communicates orders to dining room staff.
• Attends company training programs as scheduled.

• At least one (1) year experience directly related to the accountabilities.
• Possession of and ability to maintain a valid ID within assigned state of employment.
• Must have basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• $1,500 Retention bonus offered for all newly hired hourly positions.
• Non-Accrued Additional Time Off – After 90 days of employment, Team Members will be granted 80 hours for FT or 40 hours for PT for immediate use.
