Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Palomar Health Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in a clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and input data into the computer system, vital signs, and health screening.
  • Prepare rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment.
  • Provide direct patient care in assigned areas, including taking vital signs and providing personal care.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
  • Document transactions, phone conversations, observations, and orders in medical records according to policy and procedure.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Certificate program with relevant front and back office experience.
  • American Heart Association recognized BLS - Heartsaver certification.
  • Bilingual - Spanish required.
