Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and testing to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide occupational therapy treatments, education, and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Assist in supervising support staff and students, and develop in-service training programs for continuing staff development
  • Communicate regularly with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program
  • Current licensure in the state of Georgia from the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • Must have and maintain NBCOT certification
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required
