Ski Hill Snowmaker

Job Summary:

Proctor Academy seeks a highly skilled and experienced Ski Hill Snowmaker / Lift Operator to join our team on a daily basis. As a key member of the Ski Hill Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our snowmaking and lift systems, as well as maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain snowmaking equipment to ensure optimal snow conditions
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lifts and other ski area equipment
• Assist with lift operations, including loading and unloading passengers
• Monitor and maintain ski area conditions, including snow depth and quality
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in snowmaking and lift maintenance
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
