Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Houseperson to join our team at The Delta by Marriott. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our public areas, guest rooms, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Furniture and Mattress Management: Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, and ensure all areas are tidy and organized.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Collect soiled linens, receive and store linen supplies, and maintain a clean and efficient laundry process.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas, including walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Waste Management: Empty wastebaskets, remove trash, and transport waste to disposal areas.
  • Supply Replenishment: Replenish supplies, replace light bulbs, and maintain a well-stocked inventory of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Guest Services: Deliver guest amenities, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and maintain vacuums, washers, dryers, and vents, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
