Our ICU is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients assigned to your unit, and will have the opportunity to participate in strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation, and implementation.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Support patient safety initiatives and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Passing score on Critical Care Test/Rhythm interpretation examination.
- CCRN preferred.
- One year of experience in a critical care setting required.
Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is a 260+ bed acute care hospital that provides emergency and pediatric emergency services.
