Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care utilizing the LVN process, ensuring a safe and effective treatment plan.
- Direct and guide back-office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow, promoting efficiency and productivity.
- Manage medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Handle patient phone calls for results and health information, monitoring and documenting treatment progress and patient response.
- Convey information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures.
- May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
- Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, and prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
- Participate in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (REQUIRED)
- Valid LVN Certification (REQUIRED)
- ACLS or BCLS (REQUIRED)
- Clinic/Physician office experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
