Year Up Career Development Program

Year Up is a one-year intensive job training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Our program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm YUPRO Placement.

Program Highlights:

  • Technical training in areas such as application development, banking, and customer success
  • Professional development in business fundamentals, project management, and quality assurance
  • Access to internships with leading organizations in the Seattle/Bellevue area
  • Personalized coaching and mentorship to support career growth
  • An educational stipend of $525 per week during the internship phase

Eligibility:

  • 18-29 years old
  • High school graduate or GED recipient
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
  • Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills

What to Expect:

  • Professional business and communication skills
  • Interviewing and networking skills
  • Resume building and ongoing support
  • Eligibility for college credit in some coursework

80% of Year Up graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
