Job Summary

AHF LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Kankakee, IL facility. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement electrical systems and equipment to meet the needs of our manufacturing processes
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and implement electrical design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
  • Ability to design and implement electrical systems and equipment to meet the needs of our manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
