The Electro-Mechanical Technician - 3rd Shift role plays a critical part in this mission by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical malfunctions on production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Assist with scheduled maintenance tasks to maintain equipment reliability and extend operational lifespan.
  • Material Requisitions: Prepare appropriate material requisitions for assigned projects and general repairs, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Collaboration and Optimization: Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to identify opportunities for equipment optimization and process improvements, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and any follow-up action required for accurate record-keeping and future reference.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of an Associate degree or technical certification in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, with 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams is essential, as is experience with specific automation technologies such as PLC/HMI, drives, robots, inspection systems, instrumentation, and process control.
